So I had my cup semi-final today...it was against a team called Debden...MY LORRDDD we blew it. The game started off pretty well, first 20 or so minutes we played well had a few chances, then our striker femi gets taken down i nthe box for a penalty. Our captain steps up but the keeper makes a good save. 10 mins later they break and our player is forced to take the foul and they get a penal AND score it.
So half time we are 1-0 down, we come out in the second half playing much better, we manage to pull a goal back through a classy pass down the line to our striker who put it away nicely. Then I get a corner that is just missed by everyone they clear it, someone kicks it back into the box then our captain simon bangs it bottom corner to make it 2-1.
10 mins to go we give a silly freekick 40 yards from the goal, there player chips it over the defence and there striker flicks a header over the keepr to make it 2-2 :-( I was sooooooooooooooooo upset.
Due to it being a mid week game and it getting so dark it went straight to penalties...which i happen to have a video of (5th penalty is mine)
